Nduja Calabrese (Spicy)
A unique and spicy Italian sausage paste originating from the Calabria region in southern Italy, which is highly regarded for its Calabrian Chillies.  It has a bold and intense flavour profile. It is incredibly spicy and packs a lot of heat, which is characteristic of Calabrian cuisine. The spiciness comes from the use of Calabrian chilli peppers, which are known for their fiery kick.  The spreadable sausage paste has a soft and almost creamy texture.
Use a pizza topping, or just spread it on bread.Â
Tip – allow Nduja to come to room temperature before adding to a pizza as this will ensure the paste melts over the pizza.
Recipe suggestion – Spread over a toasted muffin and add a poached egg with a slice of bacon for a spiced up version of this breakfast favourite.Â
