Rinderwurst
Rinderwurst is another old world sausage when there was no room for waste. Â Back in the day, one would boil up all the left over bones with the little meat scraps left on the bones. Â Then the meat would be pulled off the bones, ground up, and spices and oats would be added to the mixture with some broth. Â Our homemade Rinderwurst mimics this process to provide the old world flavor to today’s pallet.
Rinderwurst is a fully cooked beef ring sausage with the traditional recipe using oatmeal and allspice. Just fry up and serve with bread and potatoes for a delicious meal!
